    At the time they were still the best indoor players; a year before their Brussels final had been almost guaranteed, but they both suffered unxpected defeats. When they met in 1992, it looked like [2] Edberg’s routine victory for an hour, he was winning service games more comfortably and led 6-4, 4:3* (30/0) when missed a forehand passing-shot not by much. Becker [5] improved afterwards, and when they both were playing their best tennis, in general Becker was a favourite having more tools in his box. In the 3rd set he won the last five games, trailing 0/40 on serve in one of them.
