   Very disappointing semifinal from a neutral point of view, and [9] Berdych’s last reasonable chance to win a Slam which would fulfil his his career at the age of 31. Berdych and Murray [2] had met twice before in the Slam semifinals (US Open ’12 and Aussie Open ’15), both matches were pretty open until the final stages of the 4th sets, thus it was tough to expect Murray would win so easily. The crucial moment of the match came as he trailed *2:3 in the 2nd set. He fought off two break points in that game (five deuces), forcing a forehand error and playing a volley winner. Afterwards it was a one-way traffic. Berdych’s seventh and last major semifinal (1-6 record in those matches).
