   8 % Borg – 5 of 57
   9 % Vilas – 6 of 66

   Borg [1] and Vilas [6] – the two best clay-courters of the 70s, unfortunately many matches one-sided when they faced each other because Borg was doing everything a bit better. It that final the most telling moment occurred at 40/15 for Vilas, on his serve, in the opening game of the 3rd set – Borg won a 74-stroke rally with a backhand winner not showing signs of tiredness… After the final the Swede had won 18 consecutive sets over the Argentine, not dropping even 4 games in a set!
