   A decent clay-court indoor final between two specialists of this surface, even though two different styles – Almagro’s forehand and serve, Volandri’s backhand and patience. It was their 10th and last meeting at the main-level. Almagro [11] was in his career-best period, serving extremely well. He came back from *0:3 in the opener to have almost won 8 games in a row. Volandri [63] easily held four times in the decider, saved the first MP with a backhand winner, but missed his forehand on Almagro’s second chance.
