    The final was played under the floodlights since the mid-2nd set, in which Cilic led: *5:3 and 5:4* (30/0), adv-match point (BH winner), 4:1* in the tie-break, 6:4* (service winner, FH error) and 7:6 (BH error). Cilic found himself at 0/40 serving for the title in the 3rd set – ultimately triumphed on 7th match point. His sixth victory despite losing an MP-up set. “It wasn’t easy for my nerves, for Goran’s nerves especially,” added Cilic. “In the final some nerves can get into your body and you have to deal with it in the end. Luckily I found a way.”
