    Berdych [7] won six matches in his career “7-6, 7-6”: this one is the longest (2 hours 18 minutes) and the tightest among them. In the 1st set he trailed *3:5 before the tie-break. There was a two-minute break in the tie-break because someone fainted in the stands. Perhaps it made worse impact on the Czech – Del Potro [11] improved from 1:5 to 5-all. Berdych was two points away from losing the 2nd set too, first at *5:6 (0/30), then at *4:5 in the tie-break. He won the breakers 7/5 & 8/6. His forehand drive-volley was working tremendously well that day.
